The Zero to Hero is an intensive Kitesurfing course and the best value way to learn to kite surf. In its essence we have combined both the Kite starter and Board starter lessons but also includes an extra 2 hour “Kite – Core skills” session to get you on track quickly.
Kitesurfing SLE (supported leading edge) kites have 4 lines so are depowerable, they have bladders ( tubes) that give a para-glider / wing type structure that can be water relaunched and have safety systems in place to keep you safe. I cant stress enough how important it is to learn how to fly these kites under professional instruction as in the wrong hands are a lethal weapon, but in the right hands are a huge amount of fun.
The “Zero to Hero” course is broad so will teach you risk assessment, wind effect, weather and tides, how to fly power kites and SLE kites in control, how to get your feet into the Kite board straps and last but not least the principles if not actual water start ie: standing up on your board and travelling a short distance*
*Water start for most persons will take another dedicated session as is a lot harder than it looks, saying that you may well be a natural and stand up pretty much straight away.

Your course is taught by a professional IKO / BKSA instructor and includes a total of 12* hours training completed over 2 intensive days.
We include the following;
- 12 hours professional tuition over 2 days*
- Kites and Kite boards
- Wet suits and Buoyancy aids
- Harness and Helmets
- Lots of fun
* Should your group have only 2 person then we reserve the right to reduce your course by 1 hour each day.
What do I bring?

For this lesson you we recommend that you bring the following;
- Sunglasses
- Sun cream (if sunny)
- Swimming trunks not board shorts as under wetsuits are uncomfortable
- Towel and warm clothes
- If you have your own wetsuit please bring this with you as will no doubt be a better fit.
- Your own neoprene shoes
Its also worth bringing a bottle of water / warm drink and maybe a snack.
